“Embranchement” • Table

Client : Atelier Mizuagé™ is a creative house, gathering designers desirous to create holistic ideas and concepts. Creative collaborations between thinkers, designers from various fields : interaction, interior, industry, graphics, etc… and various locations ( China, France, Korea, Japan, Netherlands,…). From the Japanese meaning 水揚げ, literally “hoisting from water”, Mizuage was a ceremony undergone by a Japanese maiko (apprentice geisha) to signify her coming of age. Atelier Mizuagé™ express evolution, with which ideas coming true.

Work : Roots are the base, our planting. “Embranchement” ( junction ) expresses this idea : a simple top board supported by a complex leg structure. The table is composed by woodcuts assembled and painted.
